Elegant Living Today: Boxwood at Vinings by Jim Chapman Communities

16 Spacious Master on Main Homes in Central Vinings Location

Recently, Jim Chapman Communities started building 16 gorgeous new master on main homes, including 3 on a full basement, in the new Boxwood at Vinings neighborhood.  Casually elegant, spacious and well-appointed, these two-story homes with brick and cedar exteriors are situated on beautifully landscaped grounds.

The coveted Vinings location of this beautiful new age-targeted enclave on Cooper Lake Drive appeals to a variety of homebuyers, from top-level executives to active adults who wish to start a new chapter in their lives in a thoughtfully designed new home - while staying close to their original Buckhead, Sandy Springs and Vinings neighborhoods.

“Two of our floorplans feature a master on main, while the third has an option for an elevator,” says Pauline Miller, president and founder of Brightstar with Keller Williams, the official listing agent for Boxwood at Vinings. “Our homes are designed for outdoor living year-round as well. Screened-in, covered rear patios have a 42” vented fireplace, hearth and mantle, and the option to fully enclose, heat and cool the space.”

Pauline Miller notes that Jim Chapman is currently the only builder in Atlanta creating close-in, age-targeted communities featuring elegant homes with an owner’s suite on the main floor.

The well-crafted, classic homes in this great location, just 1.5 miles from the Silver Comet Trail, will start from the $650s. Jim Chapman Communities offers these floorplans:

The Medlock: 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with a bonus room – 3324 sq. ft.
The Andrews: 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths – 2844 sq. ft.
The Chestatee: 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths – 3332 sq. ft.

Jim Chapman Communities and Friends to Donate to Family Promise of Hall County 2017 IBS Show Home Will Benefit Hall County Families in Need

Jim Chapman, president of Jim Chapman Communities and Jim Chapman Fine Homes, has been invited by the National Association of Home Builders and Professional Builder Magazine to exhibit an active-adult-styled single family home at the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS), held in Orlando from January 10-12, 2017.

Through HomeAid Atlanta, and in close cooperation with many vendors and suppliers who are also part of this IBS show home by providing goods and materials, Jim has decided to donate this brand new home to Family Promise of Hall County, one of nine Family Promise affiliates in the greater Atlanta area working to end the cycle of family homelessness, at one-half of the home’s cost of construction.

The show home, a well-crafted modular home by Nationwide Custom Homes, comes fully furnished with all appliances and fixtures, and will highlight the latest design and construction features available to today’s builders. In Hall County, this home would be listed for approximately $300,000.

“First, I contacted HomeAid Atlanta to get their expert advice and make sure that our contribution of this turn-key house would benefit the most people,” says Jim. HomeAid Atlanta, the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, is a nonprofit organization that works with homeless service providers and the building industry to build and renovate homes for families and individuals experiencing temporary homelessness.

“They put us in touch with Family Promise of Hall County, and I am honored to be part of the solution to help homeless children and their families regain stability in their lives,” notes Jim, himself a father of two young children.

This will be the third home in Family Promise’s Next Step Program and will be called the Spring Street Home. The homes are used by Family Promise of Hall County as transitional homes in the organization’s 90-day program that provides advisement, advocacy, and accountability for families seeking independence.

To realize the Spring Street Home, Family Promise has started a two-month fundraising campaign to quickly raise the monies needed to prepare the lot and pour the foundation for the new home. “To be able to use this magnificent donation by Jim Chapman Communities and friends, we need $100,000 by the end of the year so that the house can be moved here right after IBS is over. We would love to welcome our first family ‘home’ in January 2017,” says Lindsey McCamy, Executive Director of Family Promise of Hall County.
